Beautiful park. Large sites with plenty of room between you and your neighbors. Our site (#60) was perfect and had full hookups. They did have large portions of the park already closed for the season. Just wish there were more sites with sewer hookups to choose from. We will definitely return to Indian Creek.

We were at Indian Creek for the Halloween Walk. I paint rocks for the younger kids every year instead of candy. Our campsite was a FHU (#60). Close to the weekend, the entire campground filled to capacity...it is a fun time to be there. The Halloween Walk was awesome! The weather cooperated and with a full moon..it was perfect. I did notice some sites that did only minimal decorating (poor participation) but the other sites that went above and beyond made them look small and insignificant. There was more animated displays and the creepiness of it was just wonderful!

I love staying at Indian Creek, the area is so nice and quiet, relaxing and well kept but I hope they replace the fish cleaning station soon.

My husband and I have been camping in this park for three years now. Weve never had a problem with any site weve had nor that any of our family and friends have had. We always have at least 6 campers that we get sites together as we celebrate Christmas in July here. Due to my kids having so Christmass to go to around Christmas time. So we celebrate for 4 days in July. Its a BLAST!! This past year by accident one of our campers in our group reserved a handicap site. ( my son actually had a farm accident and lost half of his foot three years ago) he doesnt use a handicap parking pass anymore. Anyway when he stopped to ask about staying in that spot he was told that if he did and the park ranger stopped to check if he did he would have to move his camper. So he stayed in another site. This was an honest mistake. THE NEXT DAY another camper pulls in there and sits up. NOONE WAS HANDICAPPED NOR DID THEY HAVE A HANDICAP PARKING TAG. They stayed the whole weekend right in the middle of our 6 spots when my son had to camp on the other side. Not happy about this one. The camp host told my son he couldnt camp in it but then a few hours later gave it to another person. NOT OK Wed had our reservations for 6 months. And when we made the reservations we we not told it was a handicap spot. They need to get it together. We even went to them and complained and told them the other campers were not handicapped and they said oh well. Not a very smart camp host reply.

We arrived on a Wed. The bath houses were laden with dead bugs. They were not cleaned until Friday. The playground was decent but not centrally located, so was quite far from most of the campsites. Lots of ticks.

We had a very relaxing time with the nice weather and open trails, a lot of space to ride our bikes and walk the dog. Close to the lake and beach.

Reservations only kills the spontaneity of camping. I also learned how easy it is to overbook then cancel- no bueno.

Our first trip here and absolutely loved it!! This is one of our favs, by far. We went as a recommendation from a friend that lives close by and traveled from where we live at Lake of the Ozarks on opening weekend. The trip was so worth it and we already booked future trips. Our family enjoyed the awesome opportunity to get out on trails and brought our bikes and rode on the camp roads each day. A truly remarkable experience! ?? ?? ?? ?? ??
