Love this campground, beautiful, wildlife abundant! But the old man Camp Host is another story! We stay here multiple times a year in the spring/fall, and he is rude every single time! We have encountered a lady a few times and she is very sweet. I would say the worst was our two October trips. We had reserved a site that we had not used before and when we got there, the layout was horrible, our steps were on the edge of the pad and our door opened between two trees. We got as far over as we could but have a slide out and the placement of it was as close to the electric/water poles as possible. I checked the website and there was a site right across from us that was available so I went up to ask the old man if we could move. His response was a very rude tone "I don't care what you do, just change it online and let me know so I can issue new tags". So, while standing there, I tried to go online to make the change and it wouldn't let me due to is being the day of check-in it was giving me an error message, so I showed him. Again, rudely "well I guess if you want to move, you are going to have to pay for both sites", Never have I had a camp host so rude and unwilling to help. This last visit, we apparently blew his mind! Our original reservations were Friday-Sunday, but we decided we wanted to go up earlier but the site we had was not available for the extra nights, so we reserved one close by for Wednesday-Friday. Friday came, our new site came open, so we moved and went to check in. Holy Lord. Then our friends had swapped sites Thursday because the one next to us got cancelled and came open. When they went to check in with us, he argued with them that the site had been canceled, she said I know, that's why we booked it, here is my reservation confirmation. Then we asked for a second car tag for my group (you are allowed two and we know this), he proceeded to go on a rant about how some parks charge per person or per car. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE HIM BACK NEXT YEAR!

Great camp site. The people were all friendly the only issue was one of the rangers was a complete and total jerk. Contradicted what the other rangers said and was very confrontational. Not what you would expect from a family location.

Still love Indian Creek Campground after many years of staying. Will for sure be staying again.
