First off, weve been coming to this campground for 30 years. We used to love it. Now however, theyve taken out all but one fish cleaning station, and the remaining one is so far away from the two main campgrounds; it also has no shade and is in full sun. Next, they have cut the amount of bathroom buildings in half. Which is crazy since there are so many sites that are not a full hook up. Removing the bathroom that was by the playground has every parent frustrated and questioning the sanity of the person that made that decision. Also, it reduces the amount of storm shelters by half. Now there is no way to keep everyone in the campground safe. After living through the storm that took out the marina the other year, storm shelters are such a much needed necessity! I dont understand how they can repeatedly make such terrible decisions for the campground I used to love.

We were in site 102 West gate. I had to drive up on pads to get level, other than that it was a good site.
We drove to downtown Hannibal and walked Main Street and the river front. Didn’t tour the lighthouse or go into Mark Twain cave maybe next time.

We've stayed at this park several time now. We always have a great time. The grounds and facilities are clean and user friendly.

we are thankful they have finally fixed the walk way to the boat ramp. It really would be great if there was a walkway to the lake next to the ramp so do not have to walk through the weeds. We love Indian Creek campground
