Nice spot. First time visiting the area. Wish we had a lake view. Probably visit area again. Book ahead definitely for lake view.

Nice spacious sights close to the water with playgrounds for the kids & clean shower houses.

We have stayed here once before. The shower houses are good on stalls and shower numbers but the water pressure and temperatures are all over the place. I never got a fully warm shower but others in my party said they did. There was a decent amount of residual trash left around the loop water bottle lids, wrappers, and lots of cigarette bbutts. The kids love having a playground but they're both REALLY outdated and could use an update. The closest trek to the beach is through two campsites which you feel bad cutting through but going around is waaaay further and the gate was closed the whole time we were there. A sidewalk to walk on from the loop to the beach would really help.
