Being harassed by "monk" and "cody" f I r misuse of disability sight . Even after I showed them my disability paperwork Jamie hissong allowed them to harrass me and allow the volunteer to get away with letting vicious pit bull dog to run loose , while she watched this dog harrass other people , she threatened me about my registered service animal sitting by my side not being on a leash. I reported this to Jackson several times with no results. So they started harassing me more. But no repercussions from their boss I say to disabled people to avoid arkabutla because its run by bigots. Jamie should be ashamed of her actions after being married to Tommy

Very nice campground only issue was no hot water in shower in our section. Next area over shower was great.

We were in site 18, beautiful view of the lake...until the water went down, as they were draining because of the dam needing repair. We definitely will be back once the lake is back up.

Such a beautiful gem! Nice sites with all the amenintes, electric, water and sewer! Plenty of space between sites and beautiful views of the lake and forest. Only issues was my satellite wound not work because of all the trees, and you know what? That was a good trade! Lots of local stations and my T-mobile internet was good for streaming.

An amazing gem. An hour from downtown Memphis. Well spaced and level sites. We were in South Abutment which had what appeared to be brand new power pedestals. If you have the senior pass rates are half. If I had one complaint it would be the signage needs to be upgraded.

Maybe not the most inviting name, but South Abutment compensates by being one of the most beautiful COE parks we've seen. Most sites are quite spacious although many are far off from level. The campground has many large coniferous trees providing shade.The newly installed sewer hook ups are rare for govt run parks.One minor drawback for us was the litter around the park. No one picks it up, or at least we saw no staff keeping things clean for a two week stay. (Yes, we did pick it up.)Over the air tv channels were plentiful and the Verizon signal was adequate for any streaming you want.Highly recommend.

Clean campground, well maintained and spacious sites... stayed on site 18, we had a wonderful water view and easy access to launch kayaks. Can't wait to visit again!
