We've been camping on this side of the "what use to be lake" for several years. Love the location. It's a hidden gym.

I love it there. Very peaceful and always has a breeze. The grass is kept cut and it has updated electrical and sewer hookups. Large and handicap pads. The only downsides are the restrooms could be updated and of course there is no fishing right now as they are still working on the dam

Very positive surprise, I have never been to the area before. Campsites were very nice, we were not expecting water electric and sewer [we didnt actually need the sewer hook up]. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

This COE is great. The sites are large and well cared for. The site was close to the water that we were able to launch our kayak from close to our site

The site is well maintained. The cell coverage varies from site to site. I had only one bar and could make phone calls but could not receive or send texts or get online. The power went out when I was there. A transformer had blown. Because of the New Years holiday, they were unable to repair it any time soon, so they refunded us for the time the power was out and allowed us to move to a site with power. For me, this meant better cell coverage as well!

We always love this campground. It's quiet and never over-crowded. We LOVE that the sites now have sewer!

We were pleasantly surprised that sewer was added to some of the camping spots which was one of our hesitancy with staying here as it’s usually a bit of a pain. We were able to get about 50 channels on the tv and had pretty good cell service as well. This is now our preferred camping location! I was not happy about the concrete pad that the camper goes on because it was completely covered with pine needles and mud (it was raining when we got there) to the point that I spent over an hour with a shovel and water hose trying to clear out an area so that we were not bringing mud into our camper. The road was hard to see in many areas because of all the pine needs and leaves, it has not been blown off or cleaned for a very long time. If the roads and pads were maintained better I would give this a full 5 stars.
