Great place for older adults. Typically a quiet campground and has great camp host and volunteers.

Because of the weather predicted for the 18th. I did not camp at Wallace Creek. I drove straight home on the 17th. when I stayed on the 2nd of February, I liked it so much that I thought I would be staying on the 17th, but weather did not permit. Next year when I go south, I will stay again.

Great campground with full hookups, paved roads. We use the campground one our way south for the winter and again on the way north to Michigan. Great views of the lake below.

Stopover in January. Left one day early because of imminent weather on our route home. Otherwise would have stayed longer. Beautiful trees, lake, and drive. Enid Lake is big with lots of walkable shoreline. Bathhouse extra large and clean. It even smelled good if you can believe that. Large sites with elbow room. Our site 27 had great views with full Hookups. Site 30 would be optimal site with view and pull through.

We love Wallace Creek Campground. We camp there every year and usually have 3-5 sites we reserve with friends from other states. We live in Alabama and prefer Wallace Creek over any other campground weve been to. The hosts are wonderful and the campground is clean and beautiful. We love that it has full hookups and concrete slabs which a lot of Corp of Engineer campgrounds dont have these amenities. Everyone in our group are seniors and we all take advantage of the half price discount using the Senior Pass. Theres also a swimming area with a bathhouse. We also take advantage of shopping at the little store right outside of the campground. We always get their yummy Byron thick sliced bologna that they slice as thick as you want. They have Cajun roast beef and Cajun Turkey they slice up for you thats wonderful. We were told by a local couple theres a couple close by places to eat thats great but I dont know the name but you can ask the host. The campground is about an hours drive north to Memphis, TN if you want to do a day trip. Theres also a Super Walmart about 10 miles north in Batesville, MS.

We have been camping at Wallace Creek for several years and I must say that it looks better than ever. Wall maintenance and clean.
