We always enjoy Piney Grove!

We love camping at Piney Grove. The grounds are nice and the bath houses are clean. The staff is friendly.

The park was clean as usual. The staff was friendly. The sites are well maintained, and views are spectacular.
With that said, I would suggest it’s time to add soap back into the bathrooms, and check the shower heads for loose connections causing spraying. It seems to be in the handicapped stalls primarily. We’ve had our dry clothes sprayed many times from leaky and spraying shower head connectors there.
Also if pets are to remain allowed in the campground please enforce pets on leashes. Too many are roaming around free. It would be nice if campers would make other arrangements for housing their pets while camping. However, unfortunately most pet owners are inconsiderate of how their pets affect those around them. The most frustrating and annoying thing to deal with is loud, barking dogs around you, when you’re trying to relax, decompress, unplug, and enjoy nature with your family. Also maybe there should be signs posted at the bath houses forbidding pets from entering. (Obviously, not legitimate service animals). It’s incredibly rude & disgusting for pet owners to shower their pets in the bath house. ***News flash: No matter how clean, or how well you think little Fluffy is , or smells , he’s still a stinky animal! If you can’t survive a few days with him, please Wash him in YOUR camper, not the bath house! Thanks
