There are so many shady sites at this park and so many that are pretty level. This park is clean and beautiful!!

Piney Grove is one of our favorites. Great camp sites, very clean park overall. We love the lake.

This is an outstanding campground! We have been camping for over 30 years and this campground would rate in the top five! We stayed in October and the weather wasnt the best but will be back in the spring. Summer months offer a lot more activities as well as a swimming beach and programs at the amphitheater.

Absolutely beautiful Army Corps of Engineer campground with wonderful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would return in a heartbeat . Plenty of areas to explore and even has a small hiking trail within the campground. The restrooms were maintained well and the camp sites were "freshened" up after visitors departed. The only reason why I did not give it a five-star rating is because of the lack of a good Verizon signal which of course is not the campgrounds fault and we were able to have some service (depending on where we walked) to text and answer phone calls but streaming was very limited. Folks say that AT&T works better in that area and the campground does have Wi-Fi at the restrooms through a company that charges so there are options. The lack of a cell signal would not be an issue for most campers who just want to get away but we are full-timers and need to be connected for a variety of reasons.
