We stayed in site #91. There are only two sites that are "full on" sun and this is one of them. It has a great view of the river. There is one small concrete path "hike" in the park that we saw. Access to the river is done by two boat ramps - not really from any sites. Most of the sites are shaded, large and level. Park is well maintained and bathhouses are clean.

Just an overnight headed north, and too chilly to do much.nonetheless, beautiful spot, right on the river (#91).well be back when were headed back down.

We have a group of friends that meet at Dewayne Hayes for some of the Alabama football games. Injoy the park and always a good time. Like watching the Loopers go down the river. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful lot overlooking the water. And loved that the campground was close enough to town to grab a bite to eat.

Excellent campground. Host was professional and courteous. Spaces were all large. And the tenn Tom waterway being right behind them made for awesome views of barges and boats going up and down it. For those that have access, columbus air force base is about 4 miles away, and Commissary and px are small, but we'll stocked. Columbus is about 4 miles away and offered plenty of eating and shopping options. Propane is available at the tractor supply on your way to town. There are many walking trails on site. Did not check out the restroom/shower facilities. Will definitely be back.
