Excellent experience. Hosts were nice, friendly, and very helpful. then showers need some work, but ok. The campground was clean as a whistle. will recommend this campground. Only problem came with it shutting down for govt shutting down so we hadn to leave 3 days early. Not their fault, so wasn't a negative on them.

This campground was really nice when they had host that lived in the campground and were paid to be there. Now, there is nobody stationed at the guardhouse and anyone can come and go as they please. Not a safe condition for the campground that was once a very secure place. You can also see that the lack of government funding for parks is extremely lacking. Bring back the campground that was once a great place to stay!!

love it there the spaces are wide not like a parking lot. The hosts are friendly. plenty of shade

Reservations online are easy and effective. Check-in is easy and efficient The campsites are clean and well maintained. Roads are good and trees are clear of the rigs. Fire rings and BBQ grills are provided at the campsite. The staff and hosts are friendly. In general, a great place to camp. We just recently left there (and the only downside we might mention are the mosquitoes. Take some Off for protection.

Our electric was shut off. We were told it would be 5 minutes. After 2 hours we were told we had to move. Electric would not be restored for days. This was 5 minutes before a massive thunderstorm was going to hit. We had to move in a dangerous storm putting our safety at risk. The park ranger refused to give us a water front site like we had booked. We booked this site 6 months in advance for a 14 day stay specifically for the water front. We were moved to a swamp site and had to move back 2 days later. We were promised a refund which we never saw. Some of the hosts are literally nothing but busybodys. We were warned by guests and other workers that hosts at this site were nosy and meddlers. They lived up to that reputation. Had it not been for these circumstances we would have enjoyed our stay. The roads are also in ridiculous shape. We will never return to this campground.

No nearby trash containers for sites, and no views of waterway as pics showvery disappointing. Area needs cleaning out from overgrown weeds and trees so waterway can even be seen.

This is a very pretty park with paved parking pads, good roads, super clean bath houses. We look forward to returning.
