The camp sites are flat and level and spaced well. Everything was clean and maintained.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL spot- very quiet- super-well maintained. We were surrounded by bird calls and birds from the moment that we arrived. The site we chose was right on the lake and had a super view of the lake and the surrounding woods. Although there were a few other campers nearby us, there weren't many in the section that we were in. Before we left the campsite, though, we checked out the other location that is sort of a peninsula into the lake (closer to the boat ramp) and there seemed to be many more campers there and many who had boats pulled up onto the shore. This seemed to be more of a "party spot" and we were glad that we had picked a different section.

Good camp setting. Friendly gate house attendant. Site ten was a bit tight to get into with a couple pine trees too close (couldnt open the awning and wasnt going to hookup to move. Pit and grill werent cleaned but I didnt use anyway. Overall was fine. Will return if passing thru.

We have camped at Twiltley Branch several times. Hosts have been very friendly. We like that you can have your boat by or near your campsite. Especially nice if you get a water side site. A person just needs to be aware that this camp ground is on a flood control lake and will flood if they have to hold back water to prevent flooding down stream. If they do you will have to leave. We experienced that one time. But we love the camp ground and the good fishing there.

Peaceful and enjoyable. Staff was great and helpful. Site was level and drained well after rains. Showers and restrooms need in little work but are acceptable. Overall was great stop for a few day. The lake is great. Trails are well maintained and relatively easy.

The people at the gate were great. The camp site was full of pine needles and not clean. That was the only problem we had except for a few pesky mosquitos. I will come back again to camp and fish.

We had a delightful stay. Wildlife milling about. Nice playground for kiddos. Sites well spaced out. We would go back.

The campground was very clean even with it being a weekend and full. Since we did stay to Monday I will verify that the campground host was out early Monday morning picking up any items that were left on the campsite that didn't belong. The host were Karen and husband. They were very helpful with answers to all our questions. I would highly recommend them.

Some trees need to be cut down!! We have a 36 ft. fifth wheel and it was almost impossible to back into #10. The scenery and fishing were excellent.
