Very nice , clean campground but very crowded with people coming in and out frequently. If youre looking for private sites this is not your campground and they are strict about check in time of 2pm

The park is a fairly nice park. The pads are paved (blacktop). I will say in site 11 the pavement was wide enough for our travel trailer, but the blacktop was several inches above the ground where our steps landed. The site was fairly level (enough to let water drain and it rained heavily while I was there). Be prepared as the site lengths are the total length. Meaning if you wish to park a tow or other vehicle there it all has to fit ON THE PAD. This wasn't a problem for us but I saw several 5th wheel and class A's with their vehicles parked in the lot just outside of the campground. Ranger Patty... Ranger Patty. I have to say she is one of the nicest Park Rangers I've likely encountered. She had lots of area knowledge and aside from being a stickler for the rules (which she was very polite about), she was a pleasant encounter after a long day's drive! We stayed the maximum 14 nights. We didn't use the public bathhouse so I can't speak to that. However, the dump station is nicely situated and had no problems there. The Park itself is HUGE! Bring a Fishing pole, Bring Bicycles, bring canoe's or Kayaks. There's also several very nice pavilions and a bike trail through the park that leads to the Ocean Springs Downtown area. It's close to re-stock locations. I have Verizon and while my cell phone worked it was rather slow. However, my Verizon hotspot seemed to have a bit better service and I was able to work remotely with no problems.

My wife and I spent 5 days at Davis Bayou Campground and were very pleased with everything. Bathroom facilities are clean, campsites are well maintained, park employees were very polite and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

A smaller site, but really lovely and well maintained. Would recommend the back small loop as there is a bit more space and neighbors aren't right on top of one another.
Facilities are not a far walk from any of the sites.

The reservation to check-in process was super easy and went smooth. Our site was well shaded and clean, including the fire pit/grill. The utility pedestal needs updating, we found the 30 amp plug to be a bit lose, however, it did its job.
The entire campground is well kept, including the bathhouse.
We enjoy this location, it's close to shopping at old downtown Ocean Springs and there are lots of dining out options.
We do, however, wish they could restore the nature trails that were damaged over a year ago by the storms.

Rangers are to strict on parking rules. All 4 tires have to be on the pavement. Our space was so small if you parked this way your vehicle was hanging into the street.

Small, low key, friendly campground...

Be prepared to level your RV/Trailer as very few sites are level. Wonderful hosts and park personnel. Visitor center was closed due to the virus. Lots of trails for hiking and biking.
