We have stopped here for a few days in Jan and in Mar over the last four years. The campground is very nice and quiet and has water, electricity, showers and a dump. We like to explore the local community where there is hiking trails and downtown Ocean Springs.

As with the surrounding amenities, the park campground is excellent, especially the kayak and fishing docks.

Clean and well kept campground. Friendly Ranger on duty.

The campground was very clean, landscape was nice with more room between sites than most other campgrounds. It is located close to downtown OS and yet very secluded and quiet.

Interesting visitor center with narrated walks, sites are well spaced. But I was disappointed with the bath house this time. It was NOT warm neither in the shower rooms nor the bathroom. The last 2 times we visited it was comfortable. The nature trail boardwalk is in disrepair. Wish that was fixed.

Really enjoyed our time here at Davis Bayou. Had several different sites. The park is well cared for by Rangers Patty and Terry, along with the wonderful duo of Barb and Archie as camp hosts.Friendly and welcoming folks, nicely maintained quiet. What more can you ask for? We will be back! Thanks guys!

Park Rangers are a little picky about parking in front of you camper

The campground and park are absolutely beautiful! The campground hosts, Barbara and Archie, were bery gracious and friendly! The layout of the rv sites are way to narrow and lack proper angle for backing trailers in.

From the ranger who checked us in to the showers and the other campers, it was one of our best camping experiences.

Ranger Scott and the other gentleman in the office were extremely helpful and friendly

Interior roads very narrow. for spot 48, there is also a drop off on far side of road, made getting into site difficult. Other than that, we loved it, and will return as we have family living in area.

The place is ridden with swarms of midges bugs - basically nothing works against them. There was nothing much to see in terms of wild life - few turtle were moving across. Other than that showers are great, pretty close to big grocery chain- fresh food is not an issue.

Davis Bayou was a great park. Dave, the camp host, was great. Facilities were very well kept and the Park rangers were wonderful. Oceans Springs and surroundings towns were special. KEESLER AFB was special. This park is highly recommended.

Nice, quiet place, yet within a couple miles of shopping and dining. Poor TV reception. Good walking paths. Will stay here again.

I travelled down from the St. Louis MO area for a few days to escape the cold weather and I thoroughly enjoyed both the Davis Bayou campground and the Ocean Springs area. First off, yes I understand the limitations that Covid 19 are placing on the area both in terms of the visitor's center and the trails being closed, so that isn't the fault of the park or the campground and I look forward to visiting when these parts of the park are open again. Also due to Covid I avoided the restaurants and any "nightlife" activities, but I did help support the economy by ordering to go food a couple of times from local restaurants.
As far as the campground .. the facilities were nice and kept up well. My specific campground had a level pad, a power tree, picnic table on a concrete pad and a fire ring. The camp host and the ranger were friendly and welcoming and the fellow campers were nice and maintained quiet hours very well. There is cell signal at the campground (no wifi .. but that's fine). There are areas of the marsh to explore and I enjoyed the boat ramp area which also has nice gulf side picnic tables and walking areas.
I think what I enjoyed the most was the bike trails and the proximity to the gulf and into the town of Ocean Springs and neighboring Biloxi MS. To be able to bike to the beach, or continue through town and over the bridge into Biloxi and even to Gulfport is a treat indeed.
I look forward to returning to this campground and to the area!
