When we arrived there were storm warnings for the next day. They did a very good job informing the guests where to go and preparing for the possible storm.

The park was lovely, clean and quiet. Both the hosts in spot 3 were very nice and helpful and the park ranger was also nice. We had a great time and will definately be back.

We always enjoy this campground. The camp hosts and ranger take excellent care of it. The new asphalt pads are wonderful. There is a lot to do in the area. Verizon signal from 2-4 bars. TV had several channels but signal cuts in and out. The shower house needs improvement, it lacks airflow and is dark so mold is a problem. Water pressure also low and fixtures need to be updated.

It would be helpful upon checking in if the gate code was given to us. We had to leave at noon for an unexpected visit to urgent care and were sent to the hospital emergency room and did not leave there until 7:30 PM. Needless to say, we were locked out of the campground. The gate code was the last thing on our minds.

Camp hosts were so nice. Led us to our spot, told us about all the amenities, and then checked on us later. So awesome. Campground was full but very quiet. Area and bathrooms were very clean. One of the best state parks we’ve been in.

Davis Bayou is a lovely campground. Clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay so much we spent over 2 weeks there but, had to evacuate due to hurricane Ida. The area is nice with Ocean Springs, a small town with lots to do and Biloxi not 20 minutes away. Beaches, fishing, shopping and a variety of restaurants. We will be back to visit in the future

Nice, clean, and quiet campground. There's not much to do at the campground but there's plenty within close driving distance. It was fun to see lots of animals! We had raccoons that visited every evening and a turtle that visited each morning! Don't leave any food outside!

We were in site # 20. The site was lower in the rear and on the left side. There was about a 6" drop off at the bottom of steps from the asphalt to the ground. While we managed, it did make getting in and out of the camper a bit difficult. There were also a lot of low brushy limbs that prevented us from being able to open our canopy.

The Ranger that checked us in was very thorough, pleasant and professional. His smile and attitude was appreciated.

The campground is a older but very nice campground. The host and the park rangers were very nice and professional. They were hospitable and very helpful answering any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again.

We originally booked for three nights but loved it so much that we decided to stay four more. We had to move three times to pull that off buy it was worth it!
