I highly recommend camping here. The grounds, bathroom, and showers are kept very clean. The camp host was friendly and accommodating. Great price with power and water.

We had to leave because of a hurricane. I was at my camp site for a day. We came back after two days. I was asked to make another reservation because I wasnt on the paper the person was using to check people in with, even though I had a reservation until the 19th.I made another reservation a paid for the reservation even though I had a reservation on the computer still. I was never reimbursed for the days I was asked to leave and the days still left on the prior reservation, when I was asked to make another reservation.

We stayed here in our 5th-Wheel 4/14 - 4/21/23. Absolutely great campground facility. Restrooms & Shower Rooms were clean all the time. Camp Hosts were wonderful. Site were recently re-paved so the were level. Grounds were kept nice. Easy access to the campground & the sites. Near Ocean Springs, MI - wonderful town. Thoroughly enjoyed our time and the area. We'll be back.

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #41, an E/W, BI site for $11/night with a Sr Pass discount. This is my second time staying here. As the first time was right after a major storm I wanted to post another review. The roads and sites are asphalt – newly resurfaced in many areas. The site was perfectly level. There was also a concrete pad under the picnic table. The campground is fairly open. It was a little hard to back into due to the narrow access road. The park was very quiet. The bathhouse was clean and nice. Only a handful of OTA channels, no wifi, and 2-3 bars LTE with Verizon. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

I was almost hesitant to tell how great this park is!!! It is a hidden gem :) The staff, The Park and The area is just FANTASTIC...Thank you so much for the best stay ever! I was scheduled for one week but it was so nice I cancelled my State Park in Alabama for the upcoming week and was lucky enough to score a second week here!

Easily a 5 rating star once the remaining hurricane damaged areas are restored. Many trails closed due to boardwalk damage. The campground itself is restored, nice and well kept. Great location, easy access to the coastal waters. The camp is quiet and overseen by a great group of hosts.
Like any coastal area, bring your bug spray for the no-see-ems!
We WILL be back!

This was our first real experience in our RV. As newbies we had a lot to learn, and we chose Davis Bayou for the first trip because it is fairly close to home. Because I didn't know to pay attention to certain things when I booked it I didn't realize that there was not a sewage hook-up. Buy a portable holding tank for your RV! You don't want to have to unhook everything, hitch it up and drive to the dump site and then unhitch and hook everything back up. That was our big lesson in general.

For Davis Bayou make sure that you have plenty of bug spray. The fish weren't biting but the mosquitos were!

It is a nice quiet campground. The campers we talked to were nice and helpful. The scenery was tranquil. You could tell that it had weathered a hurricane or two in the last couple of years because of the trees, but that's south Mississippi. You could leave the bayou portion and within just minutes be at the gulf coast or downtown Ocean Springs, which I love to visit. Not necessarily during a pandemic, but it is an artsy town with lots of small local shops to discover. DEFINITELY go to the Crawfish House for lunch or dinner. The food is good, the prices are good and the ambience is perfect for what it is. I never go without getting the seafood bread. Outstanding.

Go, enjoy. Sit around the campgrounds, go fishing, go to the beach, go shopping, go to New Orleans, which isn't that far.
