Great place! Site 22 is fine but the ground is pretty unlevel around the pad. Be to check your pad length before booking. You are required to keep all wheels on the pad.Bath houses are basic but clean.Camp hosts are super nice.

Beautiful and clean campground that felt safe and welcoming!

The campground was clean and well kept. It is very open (few trees) so there is little privacy but it is in an epic location for trail walks, bike rides and historical exploration. While the trails are dog friendly, the beach is not. We wish that there was a small dog beach..

This campground is almost perfect! Small enough for persons with limitations to walk, close to town for shopping and dining. The only downside is the restrooms and showers could be improved, the hand dryer in the women's has so little air, it don't start to dry hands. The allegator sightings were published a lot, yet in 2 weeks we didn't see any. We will be back!

Beware of site 22 if you have to back in with anything more than 20 ft long. The site was an absolute nightmare to get backed into! There wasn't enough space for us to park our truck at the site so the rangers forced us to park our truck at the entrance of the park and completely out of our view. They let other campers break the rules that the enforced hard with us. The lady that does the admissions to the park was great but the other rangers were terrible.

A beautiful very well run park. Some RV sites are very short and you will have to park your vehicle in the overflow parking lot which could give you a long walk back to your site, so check the information on the site you are about to reserve.

Always a great time at Davis Bayou Campground. I have been camping here for over ten years. Sometimes two times each year. Great little base camp near all the attractions of the Mississippi gulf coast. I will return.

I had to move to site #37 because I was too long for site #22. I gave site #37 (1-night) an excellent rating because: Site hosts and rangers were great to work with. The rest rooms and shower facilities are clean and well maintained. New asphalt roads and aprons are kept spotless, so are the picnic tables. Be aware big rigs owners: carefully study the sites in Recreation.gov and google earth/maps. The road is 18 wide. The asphalt aprons are 11 wide and the apron length is measured from the very end of the pavement to the edge of the road, the curb stops are about 28 from the back edge of the pavement. They enforce the rules to the letter, so everything must fit on the apron and cant be on the grass. I backed our trailer tires to the curb stop then stayed hooked up to my 22 1-ton dully from the 40 5th wheel (60 combo length) and stayed within the length of the apron without intruding onto the 18 road. Be prepared to block up your steps because theres a substantial drop from the asphalt apron to the grass surface. There are low small branches that will rub on the top of tall rigs, drive slowly. The campgrounds and park are great exploring, the roads are walking and biking friendly too. Ill return to Davis Bayou Campground.

Nice small campground which has an amazing visitors Center. Ranger lead walks were informative and friendly. We were there in February and No- see- uns were in full hatch and annoying. Some raccoon activity around our site. Azaleas and red buds were having an early bloom. We walked the Twelve Live Oaks Trail. Close to Biloxi, which has a beautiful info center.

Great experience at Davis Bayou! The rangers were extremely friendly and helpful. The whole park had been recently blacktopped. The roads and sites were smooth and level. I would imagine that the shaded sites would be prime during the summer but for my trip, the site was not but it didn't matter. The bathrooms were clean and looked fairly new. I will definitely be going back again. The area around Ocean Springs, MS has lots to do and explore.

Rangers et on-site host were great. Big + on the showers too :-)We have a Class A RV and there were quite a few low hanging branches that we had to drive around.

Loved this campground. Located in Ocean Springs maybe 10 min from Biloxi and the beach. We had a small site with full hookup. 4 Shower rooms with nice hot water. Pet friendly. On the way into the campground they have a gator pond. Saw a couple swimming around. Cell phone service with AT&T was good. Campground well maintained. Beautiful place.

The only campsite that I camped my RV was site #22 was unlevel to the point, I had to pull in - not back in. My front wheels was four inches of the ground. Could not back in because back wheels have to be on the ground to level. Traveling in and out of the beautiful place required going very slow and driving on opposite side of road to avoid hitting and scrapping the top and sides of my RV. Many complains but a different division of GOVt. Great place. Do not understand the Govt requires environmental impact to repair or trim the trees so camping is a better quality.

Very helpful and hospitable staff at the campground. Clean facilities. Loved the biking trail that took us into the town of Ocean Springs, which is a hidden gem. Loved the charming downtown area, as well as riding on the beach roads. Only drawback was how small our campsite was.
