Davis Bayou is a convenient RV Park in Ocan Springs, however, there are no gates ve or checkpoints during the day so all manner of vehicles wiz by constantly. It feels as though theyre casing the sites! It would feel more secure if the gates were at the campground! Not at the main road

We love staying at Davis Bayou. It is quite, clean and there are always friendly and helpful rangers!

We enjoyed our time at the campground, and it offered nice hiking trails and biking access to downtown Ocean Springs.

Quiet, user friendly, close to nearby downtown Ocean Springs. Nice Fishing pier and museum.

Conveniemt site for New OreleansJean Lafitte Reserve needs to be on the visit listThe fish market next door has great variety of products - large shrimps at $6 per lbSome of the boardwalks need maintenance - appreciate it is an ongoing taskThe tarmac sites are narrow for todays larger trailers making it difficult to get steps down

Nice little park. Showers could use more hot water. Lots of walking. Visitors center is really nice and informative.

The spaces are newly paved but they could be a little wider. I feel whoever does this work does not own an RV. There are also a lot of low hanging trees on the ride in and in the park so be careful if you are a tall rig.

Ranger Jennifer Smith was very helpful. She was able to switch our sites to one that would hold the trailer and truck. We never saw the park host. Park was clean and well marked. My two issues were.The overload parking was in a separate area, not close to my original site. I cant leave my truck with all the extra equipment (generators, etc.) out of site in a non protected area. Our second site was a accident ready to happen. The RV pad was level but it dropped off at places to about a foot to the gravel. The park needs some TLC to receive a better rating from me

Changes since our last visit before the pandemic were evident. The campground office is reopened with once again friendly and informative staff. When closed, the campground upkeep suffered and we doubted having repeat visits. The camp hosts were busy but took plenty of time to interact with us. Shower and bathroom facilities were kept clean. It was a pleasure to visit and we will be returning soon.

First, the Park Ranger working the first week in October was so nice and helpful at a very busy time. The camp is simple but level and was clean. And while away from noise so very easy to get to the very nice town of Ocean Springs. Definitely hope to stay there again.
