Very nice park. Easy checking in. We had water and 50 amp electric. No sewer but convenient dum station on property. Easy on and off highway.

The park has decent sized sites BUT needs updating. This park has the potential to be a really nice park, not sure if the shabbiness is a lack of money, caring by personnel or both. The parks paths once had lighting, most however are inoperable. The Historical center has obviously not been updated in 30 years. We attempted to play disc golf, baskets were present, kind of, no tee boxes, no real markers for holes and course is severely overgrown. All of the laundry facilities were closed. The amount of trash around the campground was appalling. We frequently stay at COE parks all over the US and never have we seen a park with so much trash.

Only there one night, but would have liked to have been there longer. Pretty area. Wish we had the time to explore the hike and bike path we saw through the area.

As with most Corps of Engineers parks weve seen, this one was very nice. Located along the Tombigbee Waterway, the sunset was beautiful. There are a couple of fishing docks, a boat launch ramp, and a few walking trails at the park. We had a concrete site pad and there were large green areas throughout. The park was just a few miles from I-22.

We stayed only one night and it was rainy but we slept beautifully. It was the second night of the 2021 season so it was quiet. There are lots of piers to admire or fish from. There was so much we didn’t see but will go back for!

We were there for just one night on our way home. It was easy to get to off the interstate. we arrived a little after hours but the attendant showed up and check in was easy.
