We were on our initial "RVing" with a new trailer. It had been several years since we owned a travel trailer and was able to work out and reacclimate ourselves to the trailer. Park was excellent and the park hosts were absolutely fantastic! As I forgot a few items -tools a 30amp adapter lol. They helped us out and provided some good tips and timesaver advice. Thank you for a wonderful "Shakedown" RVing experience! P.s. if ya vistit the park make sure to bring a bike our good walking shoes - they have a great path along the river way !!!

Campground was well maintained and the bath house was clean. Camp hosts were super friendly and helpful and even gave me a recommendation for a local tire store to repair the flat tire I had on the way to the campground. One of our favorite places for an overnight stop when traveling to GA to visit family.

Look forward to the bathrooms being updates, but love we were able to just walk over to the restuarant, Guys Place!

Jamie L Whitten Historical Center and Park (aka Whitten Campground, aka Fulton Recreation Area) , waterfront site #49. Beautiful CoE park with water and electric. Spacious, level, shaded sites. One bar on T-Mobile at our site although some other sites had up to 3 bars. Had a few tv channels on antenna so able to watch the football game. Unable to find the trail to the big pier. Trail near us was narrow and steep down to the water so we were unable to walk down due to terrible 2020 accident. We would definitely come back again.

Gorgeous campground with nice hiking trails, lake views, friendly helpful camp hosts, an informative on-site historical center with interesting history of the area and the Corps of Engineers, and close to a marina for boat rentals. Bathhouse was clean. Nearby Fulton has plenty of shopping and restaurants and Tupelo is close enough for a quick day trip.

Everything was clean, in great working order and staff was very friendly. This park also has good security in the evenings by having someone man the gatehouse late into the evening. The walking trails were clean, beautiful and mostly paved.
