North Abutment is our favorite campground. Grounds in good condition. Excited to learn of new hiking trail being built right off of main campground. Several other hiking trails around old Confederate war site, duck ponds and river walk, as well as Lee Tartt Nature Preserve close by.

nice stay weather was great and we were right on the pond plenty of room around us and the next camper. everything was great till sunday morning at 730 when all the power went out. We have camped here several time s and never had that happen before and on Easter so that was a little bit of a let down. But we will be back as we realy like this campground. we were in a travel trailer

Campground is always well maintained. It rained most the time we were there but we still enjoyed our views out the window. Enjoyed watching all the kids play in the rain.

Campsite is very spacious. Right on the water/small lake. Beautiful at night with the campground lights reflecting. Bathroom is not close by, but we didnt really use it anyway. Only complaint is that there is little to no shade especially the late afternoon. We set up our chairs behind the camper to block the setting sun. Hiked the Lost Bluff trail on the south side of the dam. Nice hike. Pretty steep climbs with some steps to help out in places. Nice overlook to the river.

Outstanding campground. This campground has a mixture of camp sites with and without sewer connections.
Take a trip across the dam and checkout the area adjacent to the dam. Plenty of places within the COE to explore.
We also took a quick trip a little north on Hwy 55 to see the COE campgrounds at lake Enid. Wallace Creek was fantastic. As with most COE campgrounds North Abatement and two COE campgrounds on lake Enid are worth a stay.

This is a beautiful campground on Grenada lake. Campsites are spacious. Off the lake, the sites have sewage. On the lake, its just water and electric. Theres some cell coverage, but no wifi. Our site was on the small lake. At night the lights reflected off the water. It was very beautiful. We saw some deer and lots of birds. . The bath houses were old but clean. Theres a dump station and gargabe dumpsters. We had a pleasant stay and would come again.

It had rained for several days so it was really wet the day we were there. However, the camp ranger let us change sites to one that wasnt so wet.

This was one of the best COE campgrounds we have stayed at! We started in site 87 for 2 days, then switched to site 78 for three days and lastly moved to site 31. All sites were very spacious and had both water and electric. Each site has its own character. We moved around as we usually dont make reservations and site 78 when there was a cancellation. Regarding AT&T connectivity, site 87 was only 1 bar AT&T, but our router brought it up to 2 bars. The other 2 sites gave us 3 bars AT&T and fast speed! We even got to participate in the Halloween Trick or Treating by putting a table at the end of our site! Very fun! We will definitely be back at this park if we are through here again!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The host was not friendly at all. We were very disappointed. He drove by our site a couple of times but didnt stop to speak or see if we needed anything.
