Always enjoy camping at North Abutment. Camp host always have sites clean and ready when we get there. Beginning of spring break and always a joy to watch the kids riding their bikes and enjoying the outdoors. Lake levels have risen so view is actually of the lake right now and not lake bottom. Plan on enjoying many more log weekends in the very near future there.

All spots have sewer services now. Many large sites for any size rig. Most all have views of the lake. One of the best campgrounds we have ever used.

We loved the quietness and beauty of the campground. Even made some new friends. I’m writing this review a week later and we stayed in this campground again last night. We’re hooked ??????

We enjoyed our stay! We chose a site that was close to where the water would be if it were up in the back part of the campground. Had a great time exploring the lake bed since the water was down. Several deer sightings in the early morning as they were just roaming the campground. Beautiful sunrises! Campground is great for walking and we did a lot of it! Daughter enjoyed the playground and if you are a geocacher , there are several to find in the general area.
Bath houses are warm and clean!
The site we stayed at 50 amp didn’t work but we used our adapter and worked fine. The dump station was easily accessible, but did talk to one of the park engineers who says they should have all sites set up with sewer by end of summer.
Can’t wait to go back.
