We visited in the winter when the lake was low so the views were great but we gathered to with friends. The park only had a few campers there. I walked around the park and saw the bath house in one section. It was very clean and maintained well. The sites all have sewer connection which is a major plus at a COE park. We want to go back to this park in the higher water periods for the views. We did not see or even talk to an attendant. I think they drove by one time but with so few people staying and we had no issues to address we didnt need to see them. Overall, a great park with spacious sites and is well maintained. A definite return to place for us.

We love it here. Campsites are spacious and plenty of room between sites. Make sure and visit the visitors center. Nice animal displays.

This campground is awesome! We had site #23 - a back-in site which was plenty long enough for truck and 37ft. trailer. Had full hookups, including sewer at site, and our AT&T phone and Verizon wifi worked perfectly! The bathhouse was spotless and the hot water worked. We stayed there 3 days in late December - didn't know ahead of time that they drain a good bit of the lake in winter, so our site looked out over ... mud :) But it was still very beautiful and I got some lovely sunrise pictures! Night skies were incredibly dark - so many stars. Sites are very, very roomy and the park is large enough for nice long walks or bike rides. Be sure to visit the Grenada Dam Visitor Center. There are some good hikes nearby, although they may be seasonal. The town of Grenada has all you need - we ate at a local eatery called Pap's Fish and Steak. Best downhome Southern buffet ever, the people so friendly, and service was excellent. We will be returning next year as this campground was everything we like about camping!
great campground excellent facilities very quiet beautiful lake friendly hosts

What's not to like? Fully paved campground with paved, level sites. Most, but not all, sites are full hookup! Many are lakeside. Very clean and while not "manicured" it is a very well kept park. I had a problem I discovered when I parked on site 23 - I had a broken leaf spring and the right side axle slid back to the leaf spring mounting bolt which allowed the tire to rub against the wheel well and gouge out the sidewall. The rangers tried to get ahold of the campers coming in behind me so I could stay until repairs were made but couldn't. I gingerly moved to site 1 (the campground host site) where I sat for 11 days until I could get the manufacturer and Dexter Axles to make a warranty repair happen. Everyone was concerned but very friendly. I would stay there again anytime!

We loved site 23! And we loved North Abutment! Beautiful and clean and such pretty view from our site. Most sites are good sized.

This was a back-in site like no other! Appeared challenging looking at on the internet, but very easy to back in and so nice. Breeze off the lake, beautiful view, nice neighbors, we’ll kept and maintained. Thanks USACE. A grateful VN combat vet.
