The host is exceptional! We had to leave early because we were avoiding severe weather on our trip back home

North Abutment is a beautiful campground efficiently operated by terrific camp hosts. Once again we had a great experience, from a well-run on-line reservation system to a trouble-free, relaxing time. (Even though the gravel roads are in need of repair, they did not seriously impact us.)

We were quite surprised at the beauty of the lake and this RV park. Well constructed and beautifully crafted. Each RV site was approximately 50 -75 yards from one another. The veiw of Trace Lake was amazing.

We are repeat visitors. The new host, Terry, has improved the campground tremendously by placing signs up that encourage campers & visitors to slow down. As a mom whose daughter and friends often ride bikes/scooters I appreciate his efforts so much! The only complaint I EVER have from this beautiful campground is that people drive too fast through it and many people do not adhere to the leash rule for their dogs. This trip, one of those complaints were not an issue thanks in large part to Terry!

Very well spaced/ level site #19. Beautiful lake and friendly hosts. Only problem was restrooms/showers were a little outdated and cramped. In the mens shower there was no where to hang clothes or even sit to change after showering. That said, they provided good shelter during the tornado warning we were able to enjoy.

Beautiful campground. Well maintained. Only stayed 1 night as passing through but will definitely stay again on the way back home.

The only complaint we had was we drug our boat all the way from Horn Lake to fish and there was no water in the lake. We understand draining the water for spring rains but it's only December. Other than that we enjoyed our trip.
