First time in an Army core park. Very impressed. Clean, modern hook-ups and an excellent nightly rate. I had to trim some limbs in my site so I would not hit them as they were low hanging. But the trees on the main drive was clear. Right along a river at a dam. The ONLY negative was the active train track. There was no schedule of the trains, but when they came by you heard them and could actually feel your rig vibrate. Besides that, AWESOME!I will look at stay at more Army Corp campgrounds in the future.

This is a very nice park on the Mississippi River that is well-maintained. The RV site was spacious with a fire pit and picnic table. We have a 41' motorhome and the only tight area was the turnaround by the dump station as we had to back up once in order to turn around, easily enough. The park offers a great play area for the kids, walking along the river, walking onto the dam, and walking trails. Our stay was in September so we were getting bombed by acorns 24 hours a day which we thought made the stay memorable. We will be returning next year.

Small COE campgrounds, Electric only - has dump station and potable water with circle drive to pull around. Have a 37 ft 5th wheel and out of the 18 sites, we only saw a handful that would accommodate our size or bigger rigs. The sites backing up to the river had drop off's that would be hard to put down levels or jacks. All sites can see the river and most can see the dam, had a fish cleaning station. Stayed one night, but would definately stay again. Next to train tracks, hear one train go by, but did not bother us.
