The campground is wonderful and the people in the office are, too. We had a MAN in the womens bathroom three times using toilets and the shower. That was awful! The way things are these days I dont know what you can do about it.

We arrived on Sunday and the campground was pretty quiet. We noticed immediately that we did not need a code for the showers/bathrooms and there did not appear to be a campground host in the park. This wasn't a huge problem until Monday morning I went to take a shower and a woman with dogs walked out of the bathroom. It was obvious that there were many people using the bathrooms and showers and they were not staying at the campground. Overall this is a nice campground in spite of non-campers using the facilities and the noisy highway and train.

Early May weather in Northern Minnesota is so fickle!
We were able to capture 2 wonderful sunny mid to upper 70 degree days just after Father's Day, and the third day was 45 with rain.
The staff in attendance were very attentive and knowledgeable.
The Park was well groomed and though small it is very well spaced out for RV's. (no fee for the dump station by the way)
If you can handle nearby Hiway traffic and an occasional train, this is a NICE place for camping and day picnics with fishing as an added benefit.
They even have a children's playground.
We plan on a return visit as soon as we are able.

This campsite is beautiful with hiking available from the campsite. Can't wait to return. This campsite is a gem.
