I want to make sure I can come back and get a great site, so dont come here. Go to other COE campgrounds. This campground is great for me so dont come here. Go to Lake Winnie, Gull lake or Pokegama you will love those campgrounds. Cant recommend it because you will love it as much as I do.

I love camping there, but maybe I gave it a rating that was too high base on the road construction. We went miles out of the way and wasted about an hour trying to find out a way to get into the Rec area. I finally ended up going to the Chamber of Commerce to find out how to get into the park. There should have been some kind of notification to campers regarding that

We had a nice experience at Cross Lake Recreation Area. Late season camping was cool but still enjoyable. Took a walk around the old Historic Village across the road.

Loved the campsite and the great bike trail next to the campground. The new docks are wonderful. It was quiet and relaxing, beautiful sunset. Our only problem was trying to take a shower for an appointment we had - the bathrooms were closed for cleaning at a time that was different than what was listed.
This is a beautiful campground, but the rangers and staff could benefit from some customer service training. We have been camping for several years and have never dealt with employees who were so rude.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
