Never go to this campground it is awful! Im just kidding!!!! I dont like recommending this camp ground only because it makes it that much harder to get reservations for myself!!! We have been going to CrossLake Campground since I was a kid and I have continued going every year (that We could get in) as an adult with other family members. This has to be one of the nicest places to go and just have a relaxing time. It is always clean, has wonderful restrooms, large sites, pleasant rangers , and one thing I really like is that @ 10 pm it is like the noise switch is clicked off. Quite time is 10pm & most campers abide by this rule and if they dont a quick phone call takes care of it. The rates are so reasonable that we are able to afford an entire week stay without breaking the bank.TOTALLY a 10+ Rating From our Family for over 45 years!!!

Overall great campground one spot had 6 dogs yapping and neighbors played music until 1:30 am. Camping is nice but other inconsiderate campers ruin it.

This campground is the bomb!! It always has been and is hard to get in to. The bathroom with showers closest to the swimming beach is FANTASTIC. It ranked 4 stars because there is NO ELECTRICITY AT ANY TENT SITES (seriously... WHY???). Also, it rained torrentially while we were putting up our canvas tent. That was really terrible, and heavy. We were on the lake, so that was glorious. The electrified trailer site #60 on the hill for a view of the lake and near the playground is always taken. The rest of the electrified trailer sites seem jammed in and on top of each other, but I'm sure it's standard. We tried one year. Yuck.

Spring cleanup was in progress, so it was quite noisy for a couple of hours on Tuesday. The Sharps Bio-Hazard Disposal Unit in the Bathroom/Shower Facility was FULL. Since it was so early in the season, this meant it was FULL at the end of last season. For the safety of ALL these should be available to those who need them.

Other than that, our stay was PERFECT!

Very nice campground. Campsites were well spaced out with ample parking spaces for travel trailers or boats, plus vehicles. Restrooms were clean. It was too cold to swim but there was a nice swimming area. Lots of local amenities, including stores, shops and natural areas.
