The sites were clean and spaced well. The bathhouses were clean. There is an area people were fishing near the parking lot. We enjoyed walking through the campground. The only negative was no water at each site but we knew that ahead of time. With the Senior National Park pass, our stay was $16.

The campground was great, taken care of and very nice overall. Bathrooms were very clean! We didnt love the emergency light right outside of our site 14 that stayed on all night, was shining right in our eyes while we sat outside at night. It was also terribly buggy compared to other campgrounds weve stayed at. Overall we had a great time being so close to Gull Lake and many fun restaurants. We will be back!

Nice campground, things were well thought out and very clean. The ranger was making rounds regularly and was very helpful and friendly. The site all appeared to be perfectly level so setup was a breeze.

Very well-maintained campground! We stayed there for a few days while we had family near by at a local resort, the kids loved coming over and walking around the dam, swimming at the beach, and the multiple (3) play sets around. For parents, the play sets are by the dam, at the beach, and by the offices/picnic area. The camp sites were clean, they have volunteers there helping to maintain them, and the bath/shower houses were spotless. When we first pulled in there was no one in the ranger station so we proceeded to our site, they later came around and gave us a car pass that would give us free parking at the beach area. So just a heads up to grab one of those before to avoid the $5 fee, but they said they would absolutely reimburse if we happened to pay it. Both park rangers were so friendly and happy to answer questions. Were already planning our trip back next year!

One of the cleanest and nicest parks we have ever stayed at

Nice, clean campground and the Rangers (Brian, Ryan, Nicole and August) were all friendly and very helpful. We launched our kayaks from the boat launch and paddled 45 minutes over to Ernies on Gull Lake for lunch and a drink (s).This was our 2nd visit to Gull Lake Rec Area this summer and we plan to visit more in the future.

We always love our time at Gull Lake. Our kids love the play ground and the swimming beach. We always bring our bikes. The kids love decorating the road with sidewalk chalk. Our 4 year old son caught a nice size bass and he was pumped! Highly recommend a few nights at Gull Lake! You wont regret it!

Spacious wooded lots, level pads, metal tables with raised area to set your grill. Lots of room. Beautifully maintained.

They used to have a sand beach to park your boat. Now its all rocks so there isnt anywhere to beach your boat. You have to take your boat out every day. Not great when you are there for a week and the boat ramp is busy. Camp ground, bathrooms and everything else is great!

we have a fabulous stay at this campsite. the hosts were great and although we were only there for one night it was peaceful and relaxing. we have a suggestion for improvement. the directions we received told us to turn left at the sign at the playground when coming along Gull Dam road. However the sign at the playground is obsecured by a tree and not clearly visible (especially at night). I would amend the directions to say " if you cross the dam bridge you have missed the campground so turn around" :) We did eventually spot the sign and the playground once we turned around. It was night time and everything was dark
thank you for the stay.
