It rained most of the time we were there. The road construction was troublesome and loud.

Three nights at campsite 6. Very private site. Camp at Gull Lake often as its just an hour from my home. Campsites are cared for by camp hosts and are always neat and clean. Bathrooms are kept clean as well. Firewood is purchased online, delivered to your site and supports a local charity. Beach is family friendly and well kept. Boat launch parking lot is almost always full, but theres an overflow lot. Fishing by the dam.

We enjoyed our stay here. Very nice campground, well cared for. Showers and restrooms were clean. We were in campsite #6 and it is a private site set back from the road. I will note that it is set back in a bit of a swamp/marsh/bog area. The campsite itself is high with plenty of gravel. It rained about a day and a half while we were there, and the area surrounding the campsite filled with water. The Park Ranger advised that this would happen and that the water would not rise to the actual campsite, and it didn't. However, there was considerable water, and it seemed a perfect breeding ground for mosquitos.

A campsite with limited activities and not much to see. The facility staff and volunteers are fantastic, but the sites themselves are in a low lying area with lots of mosquitoes and little breeze. The only hiking trail is not well maintained. If you want a convenient campsite not far from shopping and access to cities/towns, this is a good choice. If you want time in nature, go elsewhere.

The campsite was large and relatively private. The whole campground is immaculately kept by a crew that really cares. There is lots to see and do. Only one downside, on that particular weekend: very loud fireworks blown off nearby lasting till past midnight.

The site was great, the campgrounds was clean the staff was great to, we definitely will be back. When we made the reservation back in February, site 6 was the only one with six days together so we took it,not knowing what the site looked like. Answer to prayers it just what we needn't after our son passed away in April.

Very nice campground . Sights are nice and everything is kept clean by nice campground hosts. One of our favorite spots to go. Will be back. Lots of fun things in the area to do if the weather doesn't cooperate with outdoor activities.

Very nice place to camp. Clean bathroom, shower and a washer and dryer. Very handy. The swimming beach was weedy, we made the best of it, playing in the sand. Very friendly and helpful staff.
