Beautiful campground. All campsites were very large, so you weren't staring into your neighbor's camper. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Fish cleaning house was SUPER clean and had grinder/disposals so no smell and no flies. We highly recommend this campground.

Very clean and so quiet also. The fishing was not very good but better than a day at work

This is such a Jen, each year we stay a few extra days. Its the most well maintained and cleanest campground I have ever seen and we add more family to our trip each year and they all love it too!

Leech Lake Recreation Area is an affordable, spacious campground managed by the Army Corp of Engineers that is in a beautiful setting along the Leech Lake Dam. The campground offers a large number of electric-only campsites and a few full hook-up sites. There is a very nice clean water fill area and dump station near the entrance/exit of the campground as well to allow you to fill your RV before you camp and clean your tanks before you leave. We are returning guests who find the campground to be private and clean. There are flush toilets, a shower house, and the best fish cleaning station we've ever used. Every inch of the grounds is well manicured and the restrooms and shower house are very clean. Enjoy a beautiful walk along the water or on the trails and let your children play in the multiple play areas along the way. Pet waste bags are located along your walk so bring your furry friends along for the fun! We prefer to disconnect while we are in the woods but, there was excellent reception on Verizon towers during our stay if staying connected is what you need. Enjoy a campfire (wood is available across the road) and listen to the owls talking in the trees by moonlight - there's plenty of room between you and the next campsite so you can sit out as long as you'd like. We will be returning as regular campers each camping season!

The host Pat is Great and always very helpful . she has been there ever since we started going and she always makes sure everything is clean - safe and of comfortable for everyone. The volunteers do a great job and are always helpful. Even when the weather or fishing isn't the greatest the people always are.
