Excellent as always. This year, there were more (and more interesting) ranger programs than there have been the past few years.

Well-mapped out for picking my site. Late in the evening & just needed a place to rest for the night. Good choice!

Campsite was quiet and well organized. Public restrooms were clean and toilet paper was available.

I don't want to give this place the great review it deserves because It's already hard to find an opening here!!! But I have to be honest It's amazing. Close to Glen Arbor, close to the dunes, right on Lake Michigan's unspoiled beaches, right on the best stretch of bike path - Glen Arbor to Empire. It's primitive, which hopefully keeps some people away, but oh man, is it clean and quiet and wonderful. Great hosts! We will be back, as long as we can get a spot after this amazing review I just wrote! Lol

Rained most of the time, the bathrooms were dark and creepy. Was not expecting porta-potty. So extremely cold too and was hard to navigate around.

We always have an amazing time when we camp at D.H. Day Campground. Although a portion of the park was closed due to flooding we were fortunate to be able to enjoy Lake Michigan and the beach as the park had an adequate amount of beach available despite the unprecedented Lake Michigan water levels.
