Was actually surprised at how nice the campground and the walk to the beach was pleasant! Would camp again!

We have been coming to D.H. Day campground every year for the last 28 years, we tent camped 20 of those years, we love the area! Years ago they went through and cleaned up all of the sites, put new wood borders, cut the brush back, etc. Since then it has slowly been deteriorating. We now have a camper and it would be nice if they would go back through and clean up but also add electricity! Currently they have an area that you can have a generator but but most of the sites in that area are not big enough for a camper.

Love this campground every year! What is with the replacement of regular wood to weird compressed wood chips from the vending machines now? Go back to just the regular logs please!!!!

We have been camping at DH Day for 39 years. The campground is always clean and well kept, and generally quiet at night. We do not like the reservation system for several reasons. The entire campground is reservation only, and there are no first come first serve sites. There is no time that you have to be checked in by to keep your site. There were many sites that were unoccupied when we were there., however the entire campground was booked for the night. I’m sure people book way in advance and then don’t bother to cancel when their plans don’t work out. This needs to be remedied.

Well maintained and supervised campground. Good jumping off point for biking, hiking, or kayaking. The campground hosts are great.
