We love sleeping bear dunes. The water and beach are beautiful The campsites are lined with poison ivy so we just have to remind our kiddos to be careful and avoid touching any green

D.H. Day Campground was absolutely perfect for our visit to Sleeping Bear Dunes! Do not hesitate to book a spot if you can find one!We were in campsite 47 and it was excellent it felt secluded but was very close to the bathroom and an easy quick walk to the lakeshore.

Great campground that’s close to everything. Access directly to the beach and the heritage trail! Only a 5 minute drive to great dune hikes and Glen Arbor. Campground was well maintained. Only issue was some overflowing trash by one of the dumpsters. Would definitely go back!!

Such a beautiful campground! Rustic and wooded with lots of privacy. There is so much to do for nature-lovers. Pierce Stocking was amazing. Come here for the fall colors!

The campsite has easy access to the beach on Lake Michigan which was great for both day and nighttime beach fun! All of the popular spots are within 10 minutes from the campsite making it a central location for visitors to explore all the area has to offer. The famous Sleeping Bear Dune Climb hike was long and tough but they views were worth it! Highly recommend wearing swim attire and throwing a small towel in your hiking bag so you can beach, swim, and enjoy the view of the lake before making your way back through the dunes.

The town of Glen Arbor is convenient for last-minute camping needs but is full of charm.

Loved the “deep in the woods” feel! Being so close to Lake Michigan was great! Close to any Sleeping Bear activities you would be interested in. Glen Arbor is right down the road if it storms or you’re just looking for something to do. Will definitely be back!
