Wonderful basic accommodations at this centrally located campground. Very beautiful setting that was close to everything. Loved it.

DH Day is a gem of a Federal Campground. Very friendly staff and clean pit toilets. The one thing I dislike is with the discretionary enforcement of the "no generator" area. People camping near us in the "no generator" zone were using a gas generator.

Beautiful setting. Lake Michigan is easily accessible, and the bike path to Glen Arbor is well-maintained. My family loved it.

It was raining so hard the first night when we arrived that we opted to stay at a nearby cabin, but when we checked in the following day, the woman who was working was incredibly kind and helpful--she even upgraded our site when she learned we sleep in a tent in the back of our truck and the site we'd booked has a sloping driveway. Our new site backed up to the beach and was absolutely perfect. What a gorgeous campground! We can't wait to go back and explore some more--next time, we're bringing our bicycles. Thanks for everything!

Loved our camp site, which was right on the bike trail. It was also great to take the short path behind our site to the dunes. This is a fantastic campground, but the odor of the vault toilet was a bit overwhelming. It would be nice to see composting systems installed. Overall, a wonderful area to explore.

Beautiful campground with excellent access to Lake Michigan. The campsite we had was also adjacent to a large bicycle path, that had a surprisingly large amount of bicycle traffic; it is just something to take into consideration when selecting a campsite if you want a quieter campsite or one with easy access to the bicycle trail.
