Perfect campground if you like plenty of room and nature! The sites are huge, and well spaced with natural buffers. Close to an excellent river and beach.

Our experience at Platte River Campground was amazing! The campsite we were on (I believe it was D-2) was clean, quiet, beautiful, and conveniently located. It was near the restroom/shower/dishwashing area, but not excessively noisy. The bear boxes are large and right near the site (they were also clean). This site was easy to book, and the staff were very polite and informative. We really enjoyed our time here! Would highly recommend this site and campground to anyone looking to explore the area!

Loved that the campground was so empty. It felt like just us in the woods!

Great location, clean bathrooms, quiet during quiet hours. Only issue we had was some loud families/ screaming children in the morning.

Everything thing was great about the campground itself beautiful remote areas in the woods. Mother Nature on the other hand is a beast. Bring a netted outdoor gazebo and lots and lots off bug repellent. Depending on the season you go beware the mosquitoes ! There big and relentless
