I like the paved pads on each site which makes setting up fast and easy. The restroom/shower buildings are very clean and well located.

We love camping at Platte River. The campground is very clean, bathrooms are spotless. So close to the river and lake.

Campsite has excellent facilities and well maintained. Especially appreciate the hot showers and camp sink. Firewood available on site as well

The campground has the most spacious camp sites weve ever seen. Being able to walk to Lake Michigan for the campground is awesome! (No dogs allowed on that stretch of the lake though) The bathroom and shower house was kept clean and in working condition. We enjoyed the ranger program in the evening. Many activities locally and in neighboring towns. We loved our time there.

When we checked in Erin could not have been more helpful. She was kind, patient, informative and personable. First experience camping and it was just perfect. VeryClean, quiet and beautiful scenery.

Love, love, love this place. Nice quite, clean well maintained campsites and camp ground. Close to Lake Michigan and short drivi g distance to fun towns like Trav City, Leland, Frankfort.

Nicely spaced campsites. Be sure to call ahead regarding fire wood. No fire wood was available when we were at the park. Had to purchase from local vendors. Since we had set up our motorhome already, we went without wood.

We loved the fact that the spaces were spread out making you feel as though you were there by yourself. Even though sewer is not available we were able to stay up to 6 days before needing to empty our tanks. They provided 50 power and most of the sites were flat paved and level. The shower rooms were very clean. We are looking forward to staying there again
