Very nice office and helpful staff. Good site to pull my trailer into. Pavilions nearby made meeting friends a dream when it rained. Quiet at night.

Fairly quiet. The camp hosts do a good job of keeping noisy campers and the dog campers under control most of the time. Nothing more aggravating than to be awakened by a barking DOG.

Campground was very clean and taken care of and the campsite was nicely located by a bathroom and shower. The walking trails was well groomed.

Campground clean and accommodating. Had lots of fun hiking around. Manitou Inn just outside of park a wonderful place to dine. Pricey but the food excellent!Need to get some real firewood accessible in the place though. Have to bring it in as the vending machine only sells boxes of "pseudo-wood" that is impossible to keep burning. Ultimately no fire that night;-(

One of my favorite parks! Beautiful, quiet, clean and taken care of so well. The hikes to the lake are great. Try the ice cream at Riverside Canoe - delicious!

The process to register and find a spot was fairly easy. While I believe the full hookup loop area was completely full, we did not feel at all crowded. The shower and bathroom was very accessible and clean, and the dump/water fill area was kept clean. We did need to wait a few minutes for our first dump/fill. Throughout the stay, the park rangers were very helpful, and we very thoroughly enjoyed the four ranger talks (including one bike ride) that we attended. Two of these were in Platte River Campground and easy to walk to. Firewood was easily accessible for purchase in a vending area. We would definitely return to this area.
