Its a beautiful location and the campsites are well planned and have ample room for all our gear. Theyre easy to get into. The dogs loved it there too.

Our third time here, also the place we got engaged at! Our favorite campground in Michigan!

So much to do in this area! the campground is very nice and the spots are very spread out. With so many trees it is a little hard to see the stars and there isn't enough breeze to keep the bugs away. but having fires on the beach is the perfect place for seeing stars and almost no bugs.

Felt so GREAT to be back at my favorite place in all of Michigan....my happy spot! Last year was the first year in 21 that we had to miss because the part was closed due to COVID! It was our campsite with 5 other friends on campsites as well, our little piece of heaven here in Michigan. So great to come back year after year to a place that brings up such great memories for our entire family...weather at at the age of 5 months for our kids or now at 17...it is always a great visit. Rangers, volunteers, host and workers are always great. I did seem this year that was a few people new to camping as it seems speeding in the campground or just being a little louder than normal was seen, but camping is what you make it. We let Rangers know of situations concerning kids and camper safety, and then adapted. Thanks National Park services staff for always making our visit memorable!

Best campground in the NPS! Sites are all paved, flat, and have electric hookups. They are also not close to each other. Bathrooms are also spotless.

Same as I remember from last time I was there 40 years ago! Nice campground in a great location by the Sleeping Bear Dunes and many other nice local spots.
