Great, helpful staff. Nice, large private lots. Clean, efficient bathrooms and showers. Great location, nice trails & beautiful beaches. The staff really keep this campground clean and check in was easy. The area is full of adventures and beautiful places.

We love camping at the Platte River NP campground! Campsites are very well kept and private. Restrooms are always clean and well maintained. Great location with lots to do including hiking, biking and kayaking down the beautiful Platte River!

The ranger at the office was rude she told me that I smelled then told me to leave Im a disabled vet and I need to use a special medication on my hands due to an injury I was humiliated Im very subconscious about my injury and the med smells like lavender hand cleaner by the way I do believe that a person of that caliber should not be working in a customer service position.

This is a very well maintained and beautiful campground. The ranger staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a lot to do around this area and the waterways are beautiful and private. I would say that they are a little too strict about if your vehicle tire is off the asphalt and on the gravel area. Some campsites do not have much parking space and my vehicle tire was 2 inches on the gravel area ( Not on any vegetation. Just rocks ) and a ranger came to our campsite and asked me to move my vehicle over 2 inches so that my tire was on the asphalt . I felt that this was a little extreme and a waste of time and effort.

1st week of May and too early for the dump station water turned on or all of the trash bins and firewood to be available. Not a big deal as we can find certified wood locally and a trash bin at the Rangers station.

This is such a nice campground. Well maintained, more spacious and private sites than most. Clean and nice restrooms and great location.
