Absolutely beautiful park. The bathrooms are always clean, the sink room is a great help. I wish there was a bike path between the loops that didnt require the main road.

Camping here was a great experience. It was very clean and peaceful. The sites were spaced far enough apart. The staff was professional and friendly.

Always loved this spot been coming here for 30 years. Only problem is my secret favorite spot has gotten out. Now recognized as one of the best in country. Now my easy to get into campground is tough to get a reservation even when trying 6 months ahead. But still well worth it. Most of our fellow campers respect the area and rules. All should have opportunity to enjoy.

The campground was beautiful and well maintained. The Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive is a must. It'd been nice if the windows had been closed in the showers. It was 40 degrees outside icy cold inside the shower with no way to keep any warmth inside.I did not like that everything has to be put away if you're not outside at your campsite. That could be a logistical nightmare if your traveling in a small camper with two or three kids.

Platte River has it all, clean and spacious sites, great access to the park, quiet for a special wilderness experience and paved roads for the kids to ride! One of our favorite sites in MI

Very relaxing campground. The sites are not packed in next to each other like most campgrounds. It is spacious with woods in between sites allowing for more privacy than the average campground. Clean. Love how they have everything structured, like enclosed tent-pads, and picnic table and fire pit in separate enclosed area. Great experience.

This was our first time at Sleeping Bear Dunes and we loved it. The campground was clean and quite. The facilities were also clean. We will be back. What a great place.
