My favorite campground. Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms I believe were new because it was very clean.

We had site 13E, between the water source (which we could not figure out how to work) and the pit toilets (which were kept quite clean). No issues with smells. There were lots of mosquitos but we had a screen tent so spent time in there. Picnic table had a chain attached so you could not move it too far in any direction. Our trailer is 25 and our f250 fit in the space as well. There are low posts along each side of the driveway pad that are tough to see when you are backing in, so take caution. You cant see much of the water from this site, as its on the opposite side of the road, and the trees are plentiful. We were there in early June and only used our generator during the day to power up our devices, sleeping with windows open was pleasant and quiet. Saw no wildlife. Steps to the beach nearest our site looked like they had washed away and were unusable. Beach was very pleasant to spend some time in the sun. Zero connectivity with cell phones. Get your firewood well before you get to the campground, as it is probably at least 15 miles to backtrack if you missed it. Backpackers/hikers passed through the campground regularly as it is part of the trail system.

This was an excellent campground. I only stayed one night, but the amount of respect people had for quiet was second to none. The beach down the dune was so awesome to walk in the morning. I would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful spot. Out of the way and quiet. Being right between the toilet and water was actually really nice (not a ton of foot traffic while we were there). Bugs are an issue, but we had a screen tent. Would stay again.

Beautiful, quiet campground. We were very happy that there was a water source in camp! Will definitely return!

Great campsite. The rules on portable showers was a bummer, but we understood. Overall really nice place to stay with some of the best sunsets you can see from your campsite over Lake Superior
