Great value. Clean campground and plenty of restrooms (vault toilets). There was a nice pad, grill grates were on the fire rings, and picnic table at each site. We were at site 35, and pulling our car up to the pad was TIGHT. There were posts obstructing the way to the pad and any vehicle larger than our fairly standard sedan wouldnt have worked. Although our site clearly stated no room for campers, a heads-up about no potential pull up at all wouldve been helpful. Also, the stairs down to the beach were collapsed which happens, but there was no direct beach access from our campground without climbing up and down the dunes. Again, a heads-up wouldve been nice. But the campground is great. The stars and sunsets are incredible. Very peaceful site. Go and have yourself a great getaway!!

Went in early June. Lots of mosquitos but other than that great quiet campsite. With great restrooms and access to water.

Great campground, well maintained. We had a rainy night, but tent pad drained well. Facilities were all clean and in working order. We did arrive the day after water was turned off for winter, but had been adequately informed when we registered. Enjoyed the sound of the waves while we slept, and the easy walk to the beach. Fall colors were lovely!

Great sites, well spaced apart. Clean and well maintained. Best location for being on Lake Superior in the Pictured Rocks National Park.
