Small campground but very nice. Hiking trails very close that take you either to Beaver Lake or Lake Superior.

It was a beautiful setting with the lake in the background. It was a little remote to get to.

The campground was quiet and scenic. Very easy access to Little Beaver Lake for kayaking, paddleboarding, or glimpsing beavers at work. The hike to Lake Superior was easy and gave us access to a non-crowded beach.

Very enjoyable, but the the one thing negative was that the fire pit seemed to be in a bad location. Should face the lake, not next campsite. Just my opinion

Amazing spot! Campsite dog friendly but none of the trails connected are. Which is a bummer but understandable.

Campsite was amazing! It was my wife's first time camping and we had an amazing time. Facilities were exactly as advertised, the toilets are pit toilets so don't expect luxury (or flushing and bring hand sanitizer!) We enjoyed a short hike out to 12 mile beach which was definitely worth it. Be aware, there are bears here, we saw one on our drive into the site, but everything is bear proof and there are food bins if you hike in. Can't wait to come to pictured rocks again soon!

Allowed dogs but the trails surrounding camp did not allow dogs ??. Campsite was clean and vault toilets were well kept.

I didn't have an experience because I was not able to access the campsite. The drive is now plowed and we could not enter without getting stuck. This was January, 2021. Winter camping is not possible unless you have an ATV or a snowmobile.
