Very clean. The park service pulls trash and cleans restrooms daily. I always clean my campsite prior to set-up and only found 1 small piece of litter. Recommend taking the dirt path along the Hurricane River starting at the campgrounds. Bring your food with you or plan on driving to Munising ( 40 min drive ) Campsite #1 Hurricane River Campground Beware that its within smell distance of the Poo Shack. Not real bad but it is noticeable.Smallest site but the only site that provides solar for your panels. I was able to park my trailer total length 15 and truck 17 at campsite. Parks drinking water was very good. 7 days is not enough to take in all the beauty the area has to offer.

Clean and quiet, and just a short walk to the beach.

The scenery was as beautiful as ever, this is our sixth year staying here. The lighthouse and lighthouse volunteer and ranger were so awesome. However, the camping part was awful. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and there was so much Marijuana being smoked at three different sites around us that we left a day early. We were extremely disappointed. There didn't seem to be a host this year, maybe that is why this year was so different.

Such a wonderful site! Do remember to bring in your own firewood and water as they won't be available in the campground.

A very large and tight campground, with good but undersized bath and shower facilities.
It was clean and well managed.
Great location close to the Ferries to Mackinac Island.

Beautiful and well kept campground. Very easy access to the North Country Trail with lots of beautiful views. Watching the Hurricane River swell after a rain and pour into Superior was really cool.

Very disappointing that there was no firewood for sale at campground. After driving 4 hours we need to drive another 23 miles round trip to Grand Morais to get some.
