Wood area . Peaceful with sounds of waves in the distance. Clean and well kept. Thanks to all from the NPS that make this happen.

Campsite was great. The footprint was well designed and the space between campsite provided privacy. The camp hosts were fantastic.

Loved this campground. Sites are large and semi-private. It is not on the lake (if you want lake access, choose the lower campground), but that keeps it quiet and uncrowded. Its worth noting that this area is about 20 miles from any of the pictured rocks hikes, but there are several other interesting hikes around and it is close to the North Country trail. No cell recepion here at all. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

Upper 7 site was nicely isolated--i could see the adjacent site thru the trees, but they weren't piled on top of one another, unlike other campgrounds I've visited. There was no view of the lake, but the beach and lake were a short .2 mile walk away. It was very clean with a clean vault toilet. There were, not surprisingly, mosquitos. <> The nearest grocery store is quite a drive. Would definitely recommend this campground.
