Nice facility, well maintained, fortunately chose a nicely shaded site. Campground hosts were friendly and quite helpful. On the Sacramento River for those inclined.Recommend for a relaxing stop.

I was a bit worried about an "urban" campground, but the facilities were in good working order, and the camp host welcomed me while I was still getting parked to answer any questions and give me the bathroom codes. (I think her name was Lee.) The electricity was welcome since it was over 100 degrees when I arrived. Most importantly, I felt safe camping there. I'd camp there again if traveling on I-5.

The campground itself is very nice, well groomed and clean. We have stayed here several times over the last 4 years and have noticed an increase in what seems to be homeless camping here. Our first time we stayed here the camp hosts told us that they were cleaning up the homeless camp sites and asking them to leave. Now it seems to be a problem again with homeless campers simply moving from site to site every couple of days. Law enforcement made 3 trips to the campground in one day responding to calls while we were there for our 4 day camp trip. I spoke to one of the deputies and he told me they try to cruise through on a regular basis to show there presence. It seemed to us that at least 50% of the campers there were homeless. The campsites looked very similar to homeless encampments you see on the streets in Sacramento. We will think twice before returning to Sycamore Grove campground in the future.

Very nice and friendly park hosts. RV sites are widely spaced and open, surrounded by mowed grass. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. This is the nicest park we stayed in.

The trees, magpies and lots of hiking trails. Will be stopping here again.

Campgrounds themselves were great. The road into and out of the campground flooded while we were there. Stuck in the camp. Extra night no fee. Nice camp hosts that kept us informed about what was going on. The water finally went down enough the next night that we could get our motorhome out by going very slow as to not create a wake. I would still come back again as it is a very nice place.

It was a joy to stay in such a well managed campground. Its so easy for these places to fall into disrepair but everything about this place was just excellent. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, the grounds well kept, the bathroom was spotless. We also walked up and around the gardens and the interpretive center, another stellar experience. The people there were welcoming and generous with their time. We will stay there again.

Helped a family of 6 with getting a spot because they were homeless. Wouldnt let me use my discount pass. Like govt needs that money more than I do, or the family! Burnt my paper plates and napkin, was told I didnt have a permit. Then they made it a point to tell me the homeless families spot went against my 14 days so I couldnt stay two weeks. Yep, sorry yall but yall can keep it. Beautiful country, but way too much big bro for me!!

The campground is easy to get to off the expressway. Lots of amenities in the area. The campground had a lot of trees, which is nice for shade. The trees were not maintained though and there were a lot of branches dragging across our motorhome as we drove around or within our campsite. Only some of the sites had electric and water, which is a shame because for the most part those were the only ones occupied. There is no dump, which all the reviews indicated that we read. We ended up dumping at a Love's for another cost. This campground is worth doing a few more updates to make it easier to camp here and bring in some more campers.

Nice campground. We stayed at the end of February, so not many sites were occupied. There are trails which are easily accessible. We did notice that there was a foul odor at the end of the CG furthest from the entrance.

Good facility in excellent location. Only negative is paying a reservation fee upon arrival at the facility.

I felt very safe because the camp host surveys and scrutinized everything that goes on here. I really appreciate that quiet hours are inforced. The grounds were kept very clean. The shower handles need repairs so hot and cold can be adjusted. We loved the nature preserve that was on site. I would love to come back in the spring.

Very nice walking trails and close to McDonald’s for ice cream in the evening. The electricity and water at our site was a nice touch. We also enjoyed our walk in downtown red Bluff. We had some very quaint shops.

Everything you could want! Lovely sites, close to but quiet. I've stayed two years straight and will be back!
