We had two hosts handling camp. They were very nice. The camp was clean and we felt very safe. We had a water issue during our stay but the showers were fixed quickly.

Nice campground. The hosts were great--helped me pick out a site and get set up with the online reservation system. Told me about a botanical garden to explore. I was only there one night, but it was the perfect place to stop for an overnight on my way south. Good showers.

A great stop for the night. The host let us change spots so we could have hook-uos. Excellent place to walk, lots of trails and beautiful trees. We would stop again on our way to and from Central Oregon.

A very convenient campground to Interstate 5 but very quiet and peaceful (at least it was in November!). Great trails for walking/running nearby

The location is close to town and services but the only people around were the campers. The Hosts wew friendly and helpful. The sites are good size. Bathrooms were clean but showers are pay. The trains were unexpected.

Very friendly and helpful host greeted me when I entered and informed me about fire warning. She instructed me how to immediately obtain a fire permit online so I could use my BBQ. I viewed online video, took test, and received my permit online within 15 minutes of setting up my camp. Very clean and well maintained campground.

Very narrow driveways and site pads.

This has long been a favorite park of ours for several reasons. The campsites are slightly more dispersed so campers don't feel stacked up like cord wood. The park is predominately designed for tent and van campers with just a dozen with electrical service. Most of the park is undeveloped and has multiple hiking and biking trails and the environment along the Sacramento River is pretty well left natural. Except for a tiny museum and an herb garden, there are no structures or any recreational enhancements (eg stores, laundry, playgrounds, etc.)

The camp host Lee and Sherman were very friendly. The bathrooms were in immaculate condition, even though it was rainy and somewhat muddy in the campground.

One of the better camp spots we have stayed at. Clean and plenty of room between campsites
@RogerC4303359 · Camped on Oct 26, 2023 at Campsite #16
Well laid out campground with generous space between sites. The site is well maintained with cut grass, trees trimmed and all roads smoothly paved with no potholes. Not all sites have power and water which is fine with me as I am fully self contained. Nice to have a showereven nicer if the shower has hot water. City/highway noise level very low and the campground visitors also seem very responsible. On site managers were very accessible, personable and helpful. Overall a very good camping experience.and I will be back.

Clean restrooms/showers and hookups. Pleasant campground host and National Park Discount as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Having electric hook ups is great. With all the rain everything was green. Very quiet and very relaxing.

Beautiful site for camping. Wish the sites were by the overflow area. That area gets the sounds of the river. did not use the showers, though I heard the water was cold.

This COULD be a great campground (location, price), however they've got a questionable campground host (his site was filthy, trash outside). I arrived with a reservation and the sign on my site said "open." I knocked on the host's trailer and asked if I needed a tag or something for my vehicle and asked why the site said open. He said it was his day off and didn't change the signs. If someone had arrived before me, they could have taken the site.
@LarryH340 · Camped on May 18, 2021 at Campsite #16
The campground is beautiful and seems well maintained. Our site was fine except for the people in the next campsite. They were yelling at each other and their barking dogs (6) pretty much all day. The campground host was aware of the issue but failed to do anything. In addition the campground host site looks like a junkyard. We left a day early.

We stay every year during the Red Bluff Rodeo. We were surprised to not be notified that the bathrooms and showers were closed. Two toilets were set up for a huge number of campers. We were very disappointed. Hopefully next year everything will be back to the nice clean usable campground we are used to.
@DavidN458 · Camped on Feb 12, 2021 at Campsite #16
The hosts were great. The campground did not have a dump station... the sites were spacious but the backdrop could have been better... tree trimming and more trees would be appreciated. It was nice to have the recreational area within walking distance and it was near the boat ramp if you are a boater.
@LarryL915 · Camped on Jan 21, 2021 at Campsite #16
The site was as expected and I would have rated higher except that ALL of the restrooms were closed... It's bad enough that Sycamore has no RV dump facility but for a pay site operational restrooms are essential. Nice walking trails all over though and host was accommodating however not a good view of the Sacramento River from the campsites which was a bit disappointing because the site map on the REC.Gov website looked promising.

We had a very nice time, enjoyed the bike paths and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful.
