Perhaps it was the slow day, but we very much enjoyed the quiet of the park. This was our last day of the 3-day return trip and it was just what was needed. Clean restrooms.

A surprisingly lovely peaceful park not far from the interstate. I have enjoyed staying here on my journeys through.

We live near red bluff and we go there to camp in the evenings to get away about twice a month it's an easy getaway for us. . The camp host reported us to the forest ranger for staying too many times in a year. We are barely over the limit and these rules are set up to keep homeless people from staying in the park.It was pathetic embarrassing and uncalled for the park is never full we are paying customers and should not be treated like this. I see drug addicts and actual homeless people staying at the park. I see homeless campers on the road too the park and they choose to harass us instead of the drug addicts and actual homeless people. The camp hosts are also feeding all the stray cats there and adding to the feral cat population.

This park always provides us with a place to park overnight with and without electricity. Depending on our needs we can plug in for a few dollars more or go without depending on the site. We have stayed in our 33 ft fifth wheel and a 24 ft travel trailer. No need to unhook either one. Sites can be 44 ft long and there are pull thru sites as well as back-in. I havent used their bathroom but they are available and coin operated showers. Coded doors to the shower to keep out the people who dont pay to stay there.

I am an older single woman who needs travel to Red Bluff often. My choice of a place to stay is always Sycamore Grove. Situated on the bank of the Sacramento River, the campground provides miles of paved walking trails, has a Discovery Center and botanical garden within walking distance. It is quiet and has manicured grounds. I have always felt safe staying there. Heidi and John are knowledgeable and competent hosts. They do a good job of managing the campground.

The host was excellent. The walking trails are beautiful. It would be great to have information signs on some of the trees and flora around the area. Being from out of the area, we didnt recognize all the different types of trees and were curious. The price of the campsite was very fair. Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed in how difficult it was to navigate the reservations site and appalled at the eight dollar fee for me For the self-serve reservations. Its very high.

Great option for traveling through. Gate locks after hours, but with reservation (phone reception good right at the gate) will get code to get in. Clean facilities, sufficiently quiet.

The reservation fee is half the price of a tent site and you can't pay on site. Kind of scammy. Also for the price the shower is a coin shower... Pretty lame. Other than that the campground is pretty nice.

The campground was tidy and well run. Our host was welcoming and helpful. Showers were clean and the cobwebs noted on our last visit were gone.

This has got to be the worst campground I have ever been to. I could have dealt with the heat this past weekend if the grounds were maintained. We had fire ant mounds all over our site, and for being pet friendly the grass was not grass...it was foxtails from end to end. The restrooms were still completely closed with signs saying due to covid, and no handicap accessible porta potties, only little tiny ones. We left after one night of our 3 night reservation. So disappointing.

We stay here once a year since 2011. Nice park setting with walking trails. Easy access to town, and close to I5 but quiet.
