We had a wonderful stay at site 9. The campground was peaceful and well maintained, the hosts were super friendly and helpful, and we had plenty of space to relax. It is also right near grocery stores and restaurants. Great spot!

Nice sites, friendly hosts, great park with trails and disc golf. Only a 3 because the washroom facility is sparse and cold. No way to dry hands (ew) and too unpleasant (cold/dark, no matts) to use the coin op shower.

A lovely campground that is nicely maintained. Host came over to greet me as soon as I arrived and gave me helpful information. I felt safe. Rest room was immaculate. Hope to have more time to explore the park on my next trip. I definitely plan to stay there again.

The campground was rather empty at this time of the year, early January. It was nice not being surround by lots of other campers. Campground host I met was very friendly. There was a clean restroom and shower facility, and the shower provided hot water with good water pressure at a very reasonable price (50 for enough time to lather up and even wash my hair). I was only here for one night, so I didn't have a chance to check out the hiking trails by the campground. There was also easy access to the river.

The CG is pretty nice, and sites pretty roomy... HOWEVER the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. There were HUNDREDS of dead bugs all over the sink. There was poop in the shower on the floor for days. The showers also had dead bugs all over the floor. This was in the womens bathroom. The camp host must be male, because my boyfriend said the male bathrooms and showers were clean. Its like the womens room doesn't get cleaned because the host doesn't use it. If you are coming here for days and need to shower, probably shower somewhere else. You get 3.5 minutes of water per quarter.

Perfect. Clean, quiet, and the host did a perfect job working the grounds and checking every one in. Very satisfied.

The campsites were spacious. Overall, everything was clean and lovely with large sycamore trees all around. There are many walking/biking trails in the area.I did not take a shower, but the water at the sink was warm enough so I imagine the showers would be hot. My only complaint is that there is no soap in the women's bathroom (and appears to never have been there), plus no paper towels or other hand-drying device, though there was an empty paper towel holder mounted on the wall. Luckily, there was plenty of toilet paper.

There was broken glass at the campsite. There was a sign on the women's bathroom saying it was out of order but it wasn't. Had to get the code for the men's bathroom from another camper. Someone put a portable heater in the men's bathroom. The cord ran across where the shower water would drain. Never did see the host. The host campsite was full of junk vehicles.

I have been here a couple times. The host is horrible and rude. The bathrooms are never cleaned. I had people try to break in my van as I slept in it. The park is nice and many that visit it. But it also attracts meth heads and homeless trying to steal your stuff or break into the bathrooms.

great site: quiet with a nice bike/walking trail through expansive fields (and along the Sacramento River) with old oak trees. Good spacing between sites. Only problem was that there was no hot water for sinks or showers. According to the host, this was because the propane tanks were empty - no one arranged for additional propane. The web page for this campground should clearly indicate that there is no hot water, or else remove the statement that there are showers.

Lots of transients. Broken showers. Trash in sites.

Very Clean and peaceful with nice trails right by the campground. Next time, I will look to book a site not near the entrance because the daily visitors were a little distracting on my weekend to un-plug but otherwise a great stay!

Online reservation was easy. However when we arrived, another camper was in our spot. We reserved same day. We arrived around 7pm and pulled into a nearby spot that was marked available. There were only about 4-5 total campers in the whole site so we assumed we would be ok. About an hour or so later, the campground monitor checked in on us and we explained our situation, he was very nice and said we were fine where we were. The grounds we very well maintained and clean and very quiet being a good distance from the main highway. We will definitely stay there again.

I rode my recumbent trike on the trails through the area. It's an easy ride with wonderful scenery, even in October. The campground was quiet and very clean. I appreciated being close to a freeway entrance for my morning departure in the dark.
